Rae link
19/1/2013 10:50:31 pm

I generally wear bright coloured/patterned Scarves and Headwraps, as I Love to stand out. With my new hair growth I've taken to wearing my hair in a Puff, and for that I've just recently been using Headbands made of African print cloth, and I really do want to invest in a few more.
I Love the colours and patterns, and although I'm not entirely sure of the origins and the stories behind the patterns, I enjoy when people admire, appreciate and ask about them.

Cynthia Atkins
19/1/2013 11:05:52 pm

I usually try to match my scarves with whatever outfit I am wearing. Si it can be colorful, African print or plain. I really loved wearing them when I did the "Big Chop" because I felt they were a distraction from my short hair, but I got so many compliments until I began looking for various materials to make the scarves. Now that my hair is longer I wear them to keep my hair in place.
