I hope that you have been able to resolve your hair issue since this is an old message. IF you have not been able to resolve your hair loss issues then may I please recommend onion juice. Onion juice had brought back the thickness in both my hair as well as my partners hair. Our hair strand is not thicker, however any of my scalp follicles that has been missing any strands of hair has definitely come back. Also to stop the shedding of hair use tea ( green tea ) you spray on your scalp and ends of your hair for 15 minutes then rinse. Tea is very drying so it’s very important to use a moisturizer of some sort afterwards. Hope that my recommendation helps you if not others!

Hair shrinkage is actually a good thing because it means that your hair is healthy. Since you would like to elongate your hair then when doing twist outs or braid outs use perm rods to weigh down your hair; that works for me. Also Henna elongates and strengthen your hair which is another option.
