I wish I had done this sooner. I shaved one side of my head about 3 weeks before I shaved everything off and I loved it.
If you've been wanting to do this, don't hesitate, get to the nearest barbers and enjoy your youth.

I was a cosmetologist for years; I can tell you why you winced as that person cut your hair. he was forcing the clippers through your hair too fast. He would have done better and you would have been more comfortable if he had taken hair shears and cut short the part he was about to shave. for future reference for those going to get their hair shaved off, if the barber seems in a big hurry to get customers out of his hair, it may be wise to pick a different barber. while I understand time management and business volume, these things don't mean anything if your customers won't come back because it hurts. But, the hairstyle is really cute on you!

You know right! When I eventually shaved all my hair off I went to a different barber...sigh! I don't know why some people don't take the extra few seconds it takes to make a customer happy...

You look fabulous, I love it. I'm rocking the 2 sides shave and loving it. I just braided the top and middle just to mix things up a bit. I feel and look younger and chique

The two side shave? Now that's radical! :), I agree that you are only young once and you need to enjoy it. I would look silly with this at some point (probably) but for now it throws you right back to your early twenties, lol
