1. What's your name and where are you from?
Hi!!! My name is Sikethia Robinson & I am from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. 2. What is your hair type? I usually do not like to hair type my hair because it just gets so confusing to me so I just say my hair type is Unique & Fabulous and I rock it! LOL. {Heather KW: Lol, it's 3c or 4a?}
3. When did you go natural and what made you do it?
I went natural in April 2008. I wanted to go natural because I was very curious to see what my natural hair type looked like and how it would be. 4. What was the most challenging thing about going natural? I would say the most challenging part of going natural was not knowing which products to use and battling between two textures. 5. What is your weekly regimen? I try to wash and deep condition my hair to keep it moisturized. 6. What is your daily morning regimen? My daily morning routine depends on what I have to do that day. If I will be out and about I usually rock the style I had the previous day. But if I don't have anything planned for the day and I am not going anywhere I keep my hair wrapped up in my silk scarf and bonnet. 7. What is your daily night time regimen? My night time routine is just me putting on some Jamaican Black Castor Oil throughout my scalp and edges and then I put on my silk scarf and bonnet. 8. Do you use heat on your hair at all? I use heat mostly in the winter months and its not a lot of heat. When I blow my hair out I will set the blow dryer on low heat and I usually allow my hair to air dry a few hours or overnight before I blow dry so I do not use too much heat.
9. Do you braid your hair? If so, how often do you do so in a year?
I never braid my hair. 10. Wide-tooth comb or Denman brush? Denman brush for sure. 11. Is your hair normally loose or in a protective-do? My hair is mostly loose. 12. Have you ever had a hair tragedy? What was it? How did you recover from it? Yes I have. I went to a hairstylist and she was going to wash and style as normal but I also needed a trim. I was natural and she said she could still trim my hair in its natural state. She trimmed it but she also chopped a good chunk off one side of my hair too! I didn't notice it until later and I just let my hair grow back on its own. This was before I knew about Jamaican Black Castor Oil. 13. What's your biggest tip for maintaining healthy or long hair? How I maintain healthy hair is by eating right, exercise, getting enough sleep and drinking lots of water. If you take of your inside it will show up on the outside. 14. Where can we find you online? (blog, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc).
